This is the true meaning of "sin". Not so much in the sense of guilt for an evil deed committed, but rather in not having seized an opportunity to progress on my path of personal evolution.
"Laugh out loud" it is a metaphor that suggests how the act of laughing is a burst of libidinal energy that breaks the symbolic barriers (the skin) of our ego, filling the surrounding environment with joy and “infecting” those around us.
In this sense laughter becomes something that goes beyond the individual (contained in its skin), to immerse the group in a unique atmosphere of joy where individual boundaries are becoming increasingly thin or even non-existent.
they are increasingly important resources that help us to live and face complex and difficult events.
Bring out the spirited side of life, it can be a very successful move that allows us to find new solutions, new ways out.
It is necessary, as already mentioned, to try to re-emerge, to grant free exit to the child which is inside each of us, with all its charge of freshness and enthusiasm, also letting us go a little to playfulness and happiness.
It is necessary to encourage internal dialogue with our profound part with appropriate exercises and experiential stages, carefully kept at the margins by gendarmes of rationality, buried by mountains of conventions and self-censorship.
That inner child that lives in us and that often expresses itself in a negative way (even adults in fact they have a tantrum, they are afraid ….) it must be made to re-emerge with its vitality, spontaneity, positive energy and expressive capacity.
The cerebral humor of certain cold jokes, based on puns is never answered with a full laugh.
While the body, in osmosis with the space that fills it and from which it is filled, is the essential element of rice: all its functions, from eating, to sleeping, to sex, to evacuation, to being sick, to gesticulating. , can be an inexhaustible source of hilarity and linked to the outburst of laughter. The body cannot hide anything, neither perfection, nor deformity, so it can be easily "unmasked" in a comic key. The more a person is in sight and behaves to feel superior to others, the more likely it is that, even by simply blowing their nose, they will fall into ridicule.
Our brain contains more than ten billion nerve cells which are nerve cells control units (neurons) from which hundreds of connections (synapses) that connect them with others control units to transmit information, thus forming an incredibly large and powerful network. The impulse works like a spray composed of chemicals that hits the membrane of the connected cell, which reacts by emitting another spray and so on, from neuron to neuron, at great speed, calculable in a few thousandths of a second. These sprays are made up of neuro transmitters such as adrenaline and endorphin, among other things, which can be defined as biochemical messengers between the nervous system and the immune system.
A chain reaction is triggered: the adrenal medulla is activated through the nerve fibers of the sympathetic system; the marrow begins to produce adrenaline, noradrenaline, dopamine and these substances cause biological alterations: blood pressure rises, the heart beats more frequently, the immune defenses are lowered making us more vulnerable to disease.
On a physiological level:
If we have laughed heartily for a joke or a hilarious situation, at the end of the outbreak of laughter there is a release of endorphin which is an endogenous opioid, that is a "drug" produced by our own body, with a calming, pain-relieving, euphoric and immunostimulating effect.
In this regard, the neuroscience reveal a very interesting thing to us.
If we get used to reacting in a positive and constructive way in the face of news or an event, whatever sign it has (positive or negative), physiologically, by dint of continuous stimuli of a certain type, the points of contact between neurons increase in volume. and sensitivity, shortening the distance and time of transmission of the message.
In practice, the more steps, the more the path becomes a highway, the easier it is for us to train a new attitude and behavior that are more suitable for reducing avoidable suffering, the one that depends on us, and to increase existential joy.
And then: let's train ourselves to healthy habits! Let's do it with imagination and creativity. Healthily habitual but not monotonous !!! At the beginning it is a bit more tiring but then… the more you pass, the less effort you do… .. And there is everything to gain!
Let's think about lifestyle changes to deliver a more livable planet to future generations!
