The fire inside

I have met men and women with fire inside them and their lives, their testimony is not an oddity in the history of the world, it is instead a provocation, an invitation to let yourself be infected. The reason why humanity continues to be alive rather than disappearing is the fact that there are people who have fire inside and who walk the earth giving light, warmth, joy of living.

They are people present in various fields. I read an article that talked about the Science Gateway – the Science Portal that star architect Renzo Piano and the director of CERN in Geneva Fabiola Gianotti will inaugurate on 7 October. Two people of the highest professionalism animated by the sacred fire of creativity and the search for new solutions and discoveries.

Renzo Piano says: “Everything holds together. The sciences talk to each other. Scientists collaborate, because they have understood that we are at a turning point in the history of humanity, and it is wrong to describe this time only as a great crisis. Wonderful things happen, great discoveries are made, solutions are found. It is precisely in the field of science, medicine, climatology, but also of human solidarity, that we are witnessing the somewhat timid emergence, here and there in the world, of a fluid network of global affinities. Which will be the salvation of our planet. The beauty that we must recover is the "kalòs" of the Greeks, which is also the good."
