Genius and simplicity

A few nights ago I had the opportunity to meet an extraordinary person with whom I had shared the same stage a few years ago, that of the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, on the occasion of an important event to which we had been invited as speakers-motivators.

This is Amalia Ercoli-Finzi, one of the leading international experts in aerospace engineering, scientific advisor to NASA, ASI and ESA. In the Sala Buzzati of Corriere della Sera he spoke about the future expedition to Mars and his now famous drill that will seek the presence of life underground.

Amalia literally enchanted us, speaking with a verve full of vivacity and self-irony and with the simplicity of language typical of brilliant people who know how to "see" the universe with intelligence, curiosity, enthusiasm, commitment and a lot of love. A real show, which aroused great interest and fun from the audience, who underlined some particularly witty passages with loud laughter. In short, a teacher to learn a lot from!
